Industries ranging from automotive and heavy equipment to aerospace and appliances have increasingly relied on the Ingersoll Rand QX Connect Series tools for precise control over torque, angle, and speed across various fastening applications. The introduction of the INSIGHT Connect app further empowers technicians by enabling them to maintain productivity on the shop floor without necessitating extensive technical training, specialized software, or access to a plant network.

The application is compatible with smartphones and tablets, facilitating quick adjustments to torque and angle control settings on closed-loop, transducerized tools. Notably, once installed, the app operates offline, addressing potential internet connectivity challenges in expansive manufacturing environments and minimizing downtime where efficiency is crucial.

Key functionalities of the INSIGHT Connect app include:

 <li>Programming of Prevailing Torque strategies and multi-step advanced strategies for up to 32 programmable sets (Psets).</li>

 <li>Retrieving and sharing tool logs.</li>
 <li>Accessing error codes and descriptions.</li>
 <li>Providing detailed information about the tool.</li>
 <li>Performing factory resets on tools.</li>
 <li>Analyzing tool usage and operational statistics.</li>
 <li>Calibration options to enhance tool performance and accuracy.</li>
 <li>Firmware and software upgrades via Bluetooth using files received from Ingersoll Rand via email.</li>
 <li>Creation and remote sharing of Virtual Psets/configurations for streamlined programming.</li>
