The application is compatible with smartphones and tablets, facilitating quick adjustments to torque and angle control settings on closed-loop, transducerized tools. Notably, once installed, the app operates offline, addressing potential internet connectivity challenges in expansive manufacturing environments and minimizing downtime where efficiency is crucial.

Key functionalities of the INSIGHT Connect app include:

Real-time data access from tools via Bluetooth.
Programming of Prevailing Torque strategies and multi-step advanced strategies for up to 32 programmable sets (Psets).
Tool backup and restoration capabilities.
Saving and loading of Psets.
Retrieving and sharing tool logs.
Accessing error codes and descriptions.
Providing detailed information about the tool.
Performing factory resets on tools.
Analyzing tool usage and operational statistics.
Calibration options to enhance tool performance and accuracy.
Firmware and software upgrades via Bluetooth using files received from Ingersoll Rand via email.
Creation and remote sharing of Virtual Psets/configurations for streamlined programming.
